How to ban a commenter
It will happen, once in a while, that a dimwit will leave an obnoxious or mean message on your blog. It has happened to me as well. However unfortunate and troubling the text may be, simply disregard it as a cowardly act from an immature person. There’s no way we can please everyone in this world. Even if you try, you’ll not only be wasting your time, but wasting who you are. It’s just like in real life… people talk behind your back. You might as well get used to it.
However, there’s a way of keeping nasty commenters at bay by telling your blog tool about it. Here’s how to keep these people from posting comments from the same computer:
1. From your writing page, click on the “commentaires” button on the left-hand side.
2. Check the undesirable comment.
3. Click on the menu “Plus d’actions…” on the right.
4. Select “Bannir le commentateur”.
5. Click “OK”.
